About this guide

LucerneLakeCruise.com is an independent guide to cruises on Lake Lucerne, Switzerland: the scheduled SGV boats, the dining cruises, and the Pilatus and Rigi trips that start from the lake. We are not SGV, a mountain railway, a tour operator, a tourism office or GetYourGuide: the site name describes the trips we write about.

Facts here are checked against official and primary sources (the Lake Lucerne Navigation Company SGV and its 2026 timetables, Pilatus Railways, Switzerland Tourism) and the tour listings on GetYourGuide, including recent guest reviews. Prices, timetables and rules change; when a listing and this page disagree, the listing at checkout wins.

The site is funded by affiliate commissions: when you book through a GetYourGuide link here, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. Our editors pick the trips on what suits which traveller, and every tour page says whether the boat is a scheduled SGV boat that Swiss passes cover, a dining cruise or a boat of its own.
